Before You Book

At EcoSur, we strive to provide safe, enjoyable, and memorable experiences while respecting the natural environments and local communities of Pedernales. Please review the following booking and cancellation policies before reserving your adventure.

Reservations & Payment

To secure your booking, a partial non-refundable deposit is required at the time of reservation.

The remaining balance may be paid:

• Prior to the tour date, or

• On the day of the experience before departure

Full payment at the time of booking is also accepted.

Reservations are confirmed only after payment has been received and confirmation has been provided by EcoSur.

Cancellation Policy

More Than 7 Days Before Departure

Guests may cancel their reservation and receive a refund of any payments made beyond the initial partial deposit.

The deposit remains non-refundable, as it is used to secure guides, transportation, and operational arrangements.

Within 7 Days of Departure

If you are unable to attend your scheduled experience, EcoSur will gladly allow you to reschedule your tour to another available date within the following 7 days, subject to availability.

No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 7 days of departure.

No-Shows

Guests who fail to arrive for their scheduled tour without prior notice will not be eligible for refunds or rescheduling.

Weather & Safety

Your safety is our highest priority.

In the event of severe weather, unsafe sea conditions, road closures, or circumstances beyond our control, EcoSur reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel an experience.

When possible, guests will be offered:

• An alternative date

• An alternative experience

• A credit toward a future EcoSur adventure

Participant Responsibility

Guests are responsible for:

• Arriving on time at the designated meeting point

• Following guide instructions

• Informing EcoSur of any medical conditions or mobility limitations that may affect participation

• Bringing appropriate clothing, footwear, and personal items for outdoor activities

EcoSur tours take place in natural environments and may include activities such as hiking, walking on uneven terrain, boat transportation, swimming, and visiting remote locations. Participants should understand that outdoor adventures involve inherent risks that cannot always be eliminated.

Participants accept personal responsibility for their own actions, safety, health, and well-being throughout the experience. Participants are responsible for assessing their own physical abilities and determining whether they are fit to participate.

EcoSur guides and affiliates shall not be held responsible for injuries, accidents, illness, loss of personal belongings, delays, weather-related disruptions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

All participants will be required to review and sign a liability waiver prior to departure. Guests under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.

By participating in any EcoSur experience, guests acknowledge that they have read, understood, and accepted these terms.

We ask all guests to:

• Leave no trace

• Respect wildlife and natural habitats

• Follow park regulations

• Support local communities through responsible travel practices
